What is a Backward Transfer?

In the Horizen ecosystem, backward transfers are transfers of ZEN from sidechains to Horizen’s mainchain.

Note: Backward transfers may take 2-3 days to finalize. Testnet backward transfers will not be displayed nor update the balance in Sphere.
